16 oz. frozen green beans
|
|
4-6 slices bacon
|
|
1 large onion, sliced
|
|
1 dash red pepper flakes (optional)
|

salt and pepper
|

Instructions |

|
Put green beans in slow cooker. Add water enough to see, but not cover beans. Cook on high heat.
|
|
|
Fry bacon until cooked, but not too crisp. Drain on paper towel. Crumble or rip apart and add to beans. Add onion to beans also.
|
|
|
Add spices to taste. Turn to low and let cook a few hours. Can also let it simmer on low all day.
