     Xmas Cookies- Candy Cane Blossoms

96 Hershey's candy cane kisses
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 T. vanilla extract
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 T. milk
Red and green sprinkles

Heat oven to 350. Remove wrappers from candies.
Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, and beat until well blended.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sprinkles, then place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and cookie is set.
Remove from oven; cool 2-3 minutes. Press a candy piece into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
