Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time. Stir in flour and cocoa then nuts. Spread mixture into prepared pan (grease a 19cm square cake tin).
Bake in slow (160C) oven about 30 mins. Watch the brownies and not only the time. Cool in tin. Cut in small squares, dust with sifted icing sugar.
