Measure the water and sugar into mixing bowl. Stir to dissolve. Add yeast, mix briefly and leave to stand at least 5 minutes until the yeast starts to bubble.

Combine oil, flours and salt in large mixing bowl. Stir in the yeast mixture and mix well. Add extra flour if needed to make a dough that is firm enough to turn out and knead on a floured board.

Knead until smooth and satiny and roll out onto non-stick oven tray. Leave to stand for a few minutes while you prepare the topping (your choice!).

|
|
Bake at 220C for 10-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown around the edges and lightly browned underneath.
