     Salt-and-Pepper Butter

Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon kosher salt plus more
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper plus more
 

Instructions
Using a wooden spoon, mix butter until smooth and creamy. Mix in salt and pepper. Season with more salt and pepper to taste. DO AHEAD- Butter can be made 2 days ahead.
