In a med saucepan with a lid, heat 1/2 Tbsp oil over med heat. Add onion; cook until soft. Add broth and bring to a boil. Add rice; season with salt and pepper. Cover reduce heat to low and simmer until rice is tender about 20 min. Meanwhile in a large nonstick skillet, heat remaining 1/2 Tbsp oil over med heat. Add bell peppers and cook until crisp. Add sausage and shrimp. Cook 5 min. Place rice into 4 bowls. Top with shrimp mixture and drizzle with any pan juice.
