     Loaded Nachos

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1 bag tortilla chips
8 oz. shredded mexican cheese blend
1 can nacho cheese sauce
1 tomato, seeded and finely diced
1 tablespoon chopped jalapeno pepper

Instructions
Brown meat in skillet over medium heat; drain off fat. Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water to skillet and simmer until heated through. Divide meat mixture, use half and save other half for another use.
Preheat oven to 300 deg. F.
Line baking sheet with foil. Make 2 layers using half each of the chips, shredded cheese and meat for each layer. Place in oven for 5 minutes until heated and cheese is melted.
Heat the nacho cheese sauce as directed on can; drizzle half over nachos. Top with tomato and jalapeno (or other desired toppings). Put the other half of the nacho cheese in small bowls for dipping, if desired.
Serving Suggestions
The unused half of the meat mixture may be frozen. Thaw and reheat in microwave when ready for use.
