Melt butter over medium heat. When bubbling add onions and
peppercorns. Stir til soft. Add green pepper, mushrooms and
garlic. Sauté 1 minute while stirring. Add stock. Dissolve
cornstarch in wine and add to pan. Bring to a boil.
Immediately remove from heat. Add pimento, tomatoes and
parsley. Return to boil and immediately reduce heat to
simmer. Great with steaks.
