     Steam Pudding

Ingredients
2 T butter
2 T sugar
2 T jam and/or sultanas
1 large C flour
mixed spice
salt
1 tsp soda dissolved in 1 C milk
 
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Add jam/sultanas, then other ingredients. Put in bowl, cover with foil and sit in pot of water. Steam for 2 1/2 hours.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with custard and icecream or cream
