This cake is so moist. You can freeze it without icing on it.
Sift together-
2 c. flour 2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda ½ c. cocoa
¼ tsp. salt
Mix together-
2 eggs 1 c. oil
Add to dry ingredients.
Add-
1 c. buttermilk 1 c. boiling water (last)
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. If using an Air bake pan, 40 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting-
(I mix this together and drizzle it on each piece of cake. This freezes good. Heat up before you drizzle it on cake. Can double the recipe.)
In saucepan on medium heat, mix together the following ingredients-
2/3 c. evaporated milk ¼ c. margarine
1 1/3 c. sugar 16 large marshmallows
Stir above ingredients together till marshmallows are melted. Turn off heat and add-
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla
