Blend butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift flour and baking powder together.
Add the flour and milk mixtures alternately to the sugar.
Add vanilla.
Separate batter into four parts.
Add red, green, blue and yellow food coloring (make colors dark).
Pour batter into greased and floured angel food pan.
