     Slow cooker garlic beef stew

Ingredients
12 cloves garlic
2 each, carrots, parsnips, yukon gold potatoes
1 lb. stew beef
1 chopper onion
1 1/2 tsp. thyme and sage
S & P
1 1/2 C. beef stock
1/2 C. tomato paste
1 C. frozen peas
 
1 C. red wine

Instructions
Fry garlic in olive oil, remove. Saute beef in oil. Remove. Saute onions, stir in s&p, 1 tsp. thyme & sage and cook 2 min. Add stock, wine, tom. paste and boil. Return beef & garlic. Add vegies, cook low 8-10 hours. Add peas & remaining spices cook on hi 30 min.
