Combine milk, sugar, cornstarch and salt in mixing bowl; beat until smooth. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Beat and cook about 1 minute more. Beat eggs and add a small amount of the pudding into bowl. Microwave for 1 ½ minutes. Stir in butter, vanilla and chocolate chips. Stir until chips melt.
