     STRAWBERRY ANGEL DESSERT

Ingredients
1 pkg. Angel Food cake prepared according to package directions
or 1 prepared round angel food cake, frozen for easy slicing
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
½ c. lemon juice
powdered sugar
1 ½ c. fresh strawberries (can use blueberries or blackberries)
 

Instructions
Prepare and bake cake according to package directions. Cool. Cut 2-inch thick layer horizontally off top of cake with serrated knife; lift off top and set aside. Carefully hollow out bottom of cake with fork, leaving ½ to ¾ inch thick shell on bottom and sides. Stir together sweetened condense milk and lemon juice in medium bowl until thickened. Spoon 1 ½ c. berries over sweetened condense milk mixture; replace cake top. Chill, covered at least 4 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with additional strawberries if desired.
