Mix together the milk, vanilla and the sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Slowly add the snow to the mixture, stirring constantly, until it is as thick as you like your ice cream. (I normally put a pan out and let it collect rather than going out and spooning it in the snow after—keeps it not packed). You can put it in the freezer until you need it.
