     Butterscotch Pudding (Sticky Toffee Pudding)

Ingredients
Whisk together-
1 c br sugar
1 1/3 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
Combine-
1/2 to 2/3 c milk
 
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c melted butter
Add the above to the flour mixture then fold in 1 c chopped dates.
Pou into lg greased baking pan.
Sauce over batter. Sprinkle 1 1/4 c br sugar over batter.
Dot with 2 T butter.
Pour on top 1 3/4 c boiling water.

Instructions
Bake at 350 to 375 for 45 min.Put a baking sheet under the pan in case it boils over. Think this would be ok in a 9x12 pan. Serv with whip cream or icecream. yummo
Double for more servings but make sure to use a large pan and lace a lg cookie sheet under to avoid spills.
