     ICE CREAM SANDWICH DESSERT

Ingredients
19 ice cream sandwiches (you will probably buy
buy them in boxes of 12 and you can use more.
1 12 oz-carton Cool Whip, thawed
1 jar hot fudge ice cream topping
1 cup salted peanuts
 
Instructions
Cut one sandwich in half. Place one whole and one half sandwich on narrow end of 9 x 12 pan. Arrange 8 sandwiches in opposite direction in pan. Spread with half the whipped topping, half the fudge topping (warm in microwave till pourable). Sprinkle with 1/2 cup peanuts. Repeat layers. Pan will be full. Cover and store in freezer.
I find storing it in refrigerator (rather than deep freeze) for a day or so before serving makes it easier to cut. Taken from freezer to serve immediately, it is very hard to cut.
