     PECAN SANDIES

Ingredients
2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbs. water
4 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 c. chopped pecans
Additional powdered sugar
 

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour; fold in pecans. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with fingers. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool on wire rack. When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
