     Old Fashioned Biscuits

Ingredients
2 c Self-Rising Flour (Gold Medal works best)
1/2 stick Butter
milk
 

Instructions
Cut butter into flour with pastry blender (or large fork). Add enough milk to make a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface. Flatten the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut out biscuits or roll with hands. Place in a COLD oven and heat to 400 degrees. Bake until browned1 about 20 minutes.
