     Sausage & Pepper Pasta

Ingredients
19 oz. Italian sausage
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 green bell peppers
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 28 oz can tomatoes
1/2 tbsp basil
 
1/2 tbsp oregano
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
3/4 lb rigatoni

Instructions
Add vegetable oil and sausage links (unsliced) to large pot and cook over medium heat until browned and firm enough to slice. It doesn't have to be cooked through at this point.
Thinly slice peppers and onions, mince garlic. Once sausage is browned, remove from the pot and add peppers, onion, garlic. Slice sausage into thin medallions.
Return sliced sausage to the pot after vegetables have softened. Add tomatoes, basil, oregano, red pepper. Cook over medium heat.
Cook pasta, slightly undercooked. Add to pot with sausage and peppers. Allow pasta to cook for about 5 minutes.
