     Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients
45 ounce can chicken broth
1 medium sized butternut squash, peeled and cubed
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic, minced, optional
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, optional
 

Instructions
Place chicken broth and squash in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Cover adn cook on high 4 hours, or on low 6 - 8 hours, or until squash is tender.
