     Salted Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup butter
2 Tbs light color corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp sea salt
 

Instructions
In a heavy medium sauce pan stir all ingredients together and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking occasionally; reduce heat to medium. Boil gently for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and sea salt. Pour into a small bowl. Cool to room temperature.
