Cream butter thoroughly, then add sugar gradually and cream together until mixture is light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla and almond flavoring and blend, then add dry ingredients gradually, beating until smooth after each addition.

To prepare mold, place nose down on cookie sheet. Grease well with soft shortening. Dust inside of mold with flour. Repeat on other half.
Pour batter into nose side of mold so that it's rounded on top. Cover with other half.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (Try 1-10.)

Remove mold from oven and let stand 5 minutes.
Turn mold on back and remove nose section. Then turn and carefully remove second part of mold, placing cake upright on wire rack to cool.
