1/4 c. chopped onion

3 c. cooked wild rice

1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted

1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (2 ozs.)

Instructions |

|
Cook wild rice according to package directions.
|
|
|
In medium saucepan, cook mushrooms, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in butter until veggies are tender.
|
|
|
In 2-quart casserole, combine cooked wild rice, veggie mixture, almonds, cheese and pepper.
|
|
|
Cover and bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes or until casserole is heated through.
