     Nonny's Sheath Cake

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter
6 Tbs cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup water
1/2 c buttermilk
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
 
1 tsp vanilla
Frosting Ingredients
4 Tbs cocoa
1 stick butter
6 Tbs milk
1 cup nuts
1 box confectioner sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift sugar & flour; set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter, cocoa and water & bring to boil. Pour over flour mixture & add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon & vanilla. Mix together, pour into 11 by 13 casserole dish. Bake 20-25 min.
For frosting, bring first 3 ingredients to a boil, remove heat and add remaining. Mix and pour over hot cake.
