     Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients
125gr plain flour shiften
1 teaspoon baking powder
25gr cocoa
75gr caster sugar
100ml milk
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 large egg
For the icing and decoration
 
200gr unsalted butter, softened
175gr icing sugar
assorted sugar sprinkles, sweets and hundreds and thousands to decorate

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cake cases. Place the plain flour, baking powder and cocoa in a large bowl and stir well. Whisk together together the sugar, milk, oil and egg in a jug.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (don't over mix). Spoon into the cases and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
for the icing, beat together the butter and icing sugar in a bowl until smooth. Spread on top of the cakes with a palette knife. Decorate with your choice of sprinkles, sweets and hundreds and thousands.
