     Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients
2 Egg Whites
1/8 tsp, salt
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
7 oz. Flaked Coconut
1/4 cup flour
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 Fahrenheit, grease and flour cookie sheet. In a small bowl mix at high speed and beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form, sprinkle in sugar 2 Tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition until sugar is dissolved, beat in vanilla extract (Whites should stand stiff) Fold in flour and coconut Flakes. Put level tablespoonful onto cookie sheet, bake 20 min., or until lightly brown, Remove and cool on wire rack, makes 3 dozen 50 cal. per cookie
