Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold applesauce for 10
minutes. Combine 3/4 cup applesauce and 2 cups sugar
in medium sauce pan. Simmer 10 minutes.

Combine both mixtures. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring
constantly.

|
Remove from heat. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into
loaf pan. Chill overnight in fridge.

|
|
Invert onto mound of powdered sugar. Cut into 1 inch
pieces and roll each in sugar.
