Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cold applesauce
2 Tbsp plain gelatin
3/4 cup apple sauce
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
Powdered sugar
 

Instructions
Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold applesauce for 10 minutes. Combine 3/4 cup applesauce and 2 cups sugar in medium sauce pan. Simmer 10 minutes.
Combine both mixtures. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into loaf pan. Chill overnight in fridge.
Invert onto mound of powdered sugar. Cut into 1 inch pieces and roll each in sugar.
