     Grandma's Rye Bread

Ingredients
2 c. water - 110 degrees
5 tsp. yeast or 2 packages of yeast
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. molasses
1/2 t. salt
1 c. rye flour
4 c. regular flour
crisco
 

Instructions
Add water & yeast & let rest for 10 minutes. Mix brown sugar, molasses, rye flour & regular flour. Add water. Kneed for 10 minutes. Line bread pans with crisco. Let rise 2.5 hours. Bake bread for 20 minutes at 400 degrees and 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
