     TastyKake Bread Pudding

Ingredients
Bread pudding.
24 Butterscotch Krimpets (12 Packs)
8 slices white bread , cut into cubes
10 extra large eggs plus 5 egg yolks
1 C granulated sugar
1 quart havy cream
2 tsp vanilla
 
Icing
1 1/2 C packed ight brown sugar
1 stick unsalted butter
1/4 C scotch
1/2 C heavy cream
2 tsp vanilla
2 C confectioners sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325. Scrape icing off the Krimpets, reserve the icing. Cut each krimpet into eights and toss with the bread cubes in a large bowl. Whisk eggs, egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. bring the heavy cream to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Slowly whisk the warm cream into the egg mixture until combined, whisking constantly. add the vanilla and reserved krimpet icing and whisk until smooth. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and gently stir to coat. Transfer to a 9x13 pan. Bake until toothpick comes out clean. about 50 minutes. Let cool
Meanwhile, make the icing Bring the brown sugar, butter nd scotch to a simmer in a pan cooking 3 minutes. ad heavy cream and vanilla and cook stirring until the sugar dissolves about 2 minutes. remove from heat and cool completely.
Transfer the icing mixture to a large bowl. add confectioners sugar and beat until smooth. spread on pudding and serve
