     Almond Tartlets

Ingredients
You will need 200g sweet pastry
Filling-
100g sugar
100g ground almonds
2 egg, beaten
Few drops almond essence
Jam
 

Instructions
Roll out pastry thinly,cut in rounds and line 16 patty tins. Mix ground almonds, essence and sugar with the sufficient beaten eggs to make a soft mixture. Place a little jam in each case, then top with a small spoonful almond mixture. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a moderately hot oven, 200c for about 20-25 minutes. Enjoy --)
