Dough- Cool milk to lukewarm by adding water, combine butter, sugar and salt with milk. Add yeast and mix well. Blend in egg, gradually add sifted flour, mix until well blended. Roll out 1/2 inch thick on well floured board, cut with 2 1/2 inch round cutter. Place on greased baking sheet and let rise in warm place until double in size. Press indentation in center of each bun, add favorite filling and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
