     Congealed Salad

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 Family size package Jello - Lime
2 Cups Boiling Water - required on jello package
24 Marshmallows - regular size not mini
1 Large size package Cream Cheese
1 Large Can Evaporated Milk (about 12 oz)
2 Heaping Tablespoons Salad Dressing (Miracle Whip)
Optional Ingredients to add-
Pecans to taste - about a cup chopped
1 Small Can Pineapple

1 Small Bottle Cherries

Instructions
Freeze evaporated milk until it is whipping consistence (when it has ice crystals, but frozen solid) This takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours in my refrig freezer.
When the milk is ready, in a blender liquefy the Jello, boiling water, cream cheese, and marshmallows. Put the milk in a large mixing bowl and whip until fluffy. Add Salad Dressing to jello mixture in blender and blend well. Add jello mixture to whipped milk and mix together. Fold in other ingredients (nuts, pineapple or cherries). Pour into pan and refrigerate until firm.
If you get in a rush you can substitute Cool Whip (large container) for the evaporated milk. I don't like it as well because it is sweeter and a little different consistency.
