Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Use a 9-inch x 13-inch glass baking dish, spray with Pam and, using a paper towel, wipe all the inside of the dish so it's just a little oily.
Put all of the ingredients into the glass baking dish
Mix all together with a large spoon.
Now, take 1 refrigerated tube of Crescent rolls out and lay the triangles in alternating order on top of this mixture to make a sort of top crust. I cut up fresh chives and sprinkle on the top to make it look pretty; but you can use dried chives instead.

Bake for 1/2 hour. Take out of oven and let cool about 10 minutes.

OPTIONS- You can use refrigerated biscuits or mashed potatoes instead of the crescent rolls.
You can substitute Cooked ground or stew beef, shrimp or pork for the chicken and season appropriately.
