     Banana Cherry Cake

Ingredients
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup crisco oil
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling
 
2 cups chopped bananas
1 cup chopped nuts
Icing- 2-8 oz. pkgs cream cheese, softened
1 cup butter
32 oz. powdered sugar
red food coloring
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp banana flavoring
1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions
Cake- Combine dry ingredients in large bowl, add eggs and oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. DO NOT BEAT! Add vanilla, pie filling, bananas and nuts. Spoon batter into 3 well greased & floured 8 or 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes. Cool and remove from pans, cool completely.
Frosting- Combine cream cheese and butter till smooth. Add powdered sugar a few drops of red fool coloring and beat till light and fluffy. Add flavorings. Spread liberally on cake and add nuts to top layer
