     Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake

Ingredients
2 pkgs. 8 oz. refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pkg. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powder sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 - 21 oz. can cherry or blueberry pie filling
Glaze- 1/2 cup powder sugar & 2-3 tsp milk
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350, unroll crescent rolls and separate 16 triangles, reserve 4 triangles for decorations. Arrange 12 triangles in a circle on a pizza pan with wide ends towards the outside edge of pan and points to center, (points will not meet) Press dough to 14 inch circle pressing seams together to seal, leaving 3inch hole in center. Combine cream cheese, powder sugar, egg and vanilla mix till smooth. Spread over dough to within 1/2 inch of edges, top with pie filling, cut remaining dough into 3rds starting at wide end and cut lengthwise to the point. Arrange dough strips evenly in spoke like fashion over filling, press ends to seal and center and outer edges. Bake 25-30 minutes or till golden brown cool slightly. Mix glaze and pour over coffee cake.
