     Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients
Topping
3 Tbls Sugar
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Cookie Dough
3 1/2 Cup Flour
1 Tbls Baking Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
 
1 Cup Butter, softened
2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tbls Light Corn syrup
2 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Instructions
Topping - Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
Dough - Mix dry ingredients. Cream butter. Add sugar to the butter and continue to mix. Add eggs, corn syrup and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Chill dough for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Form balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in the cinnamon sugar to coat. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes until puffed up and slightly cracked. Cool on a wire baking rack.
