     Olive-Fig Tapenade

Ingredients
2 cups pitted Greek olives (such as kalamata)
1 c dried figs, stems removed and rough chopped
2T olive oil
1 small clove garlic, peeled
1T fig balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. agave or maple syrup
1T favorite fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme), rough chopped
2 tsp. Italian or Greek spice blend
1 tsp. pepper
 
salt to taste

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in small bowl of food processor and puree until combined. Can puree to smooth consistency or leave slightly chunky.
Allow to sit for minimum of 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Can be sealed in tightly covered container and refrigerated for up to a month.
Serving Suggestions
Serve as spread for baguette slices, pita chips, or cucumber rounds. Great mix in for pasta.
