     Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 c shredded natural swiss cheese
1/3 c minced onion
4 eggs
2 c whipping or light cream
1 pastry lined pie pan
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp cayenne red pepper
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry lined pan. Beat eggs slightly. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into pie pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 300 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serve in wedges.
