The Dark Chocolate and Avocado Truffles, are
very easy to make! Pit avocado and mash the
flesh with a fork until completely smooth and
lump free. Melt the chocolate, microwave or
bain-marie, taking care not to burn it. Once
melted stir, the mashed avocado, brown sugar,
vanilla essence, salt and the 1 1/2 cocoa
powder until combined. Place the truffles
mixture in the fridge for 30-40 minutes and let
it cool until partially set. Use a small ice-
cream scooper or tblspoon to dollop out the
truffles, and form balls with the palm of your
hand. Roll each ball in different bowls of
flaked almonds, crushed pistachios, cocoa
powder (used cocoa zuccherato) and in zucchero
granella or any other of your flavours. Enjoy
the taste -)
