     Gannet (Cheese Bread)

Ingredients
1/2 cup milk, warmed, with
1/4 cup butter, til melted
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
pinch of pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 cup grated Gruyere, Emmenthal, or Cheddar, reserving 1 tbsp
2.25 tsp dry yeast
2 eggs
 

Instructions
Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top of bread before baking.
