     24 hour omelet

Ingredients
16 slices buttered bread (trim crusts)
3 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
6 eggs
3 c milk
1/2 tsp powdered mustard
4 drops tabasco sauce
1 handful chopped green pepper and pimento
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
 

Instructions
Place 8 slices of bread in a greased 9X13 pan (buttered side up). Beat eggs, milk, mustard, tabasco, pepper, pimento, salt and pepper. Pour half over bread. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese over the top. Add the remaining 8 bread slices and repeat the process. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Next day, bake covered at 325 for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue baking 15 minutes more.
