Prepare and line 9 inch pan with pie crust.
Take 1 slice of bacon from the 1/2 lb and cook until limp. Cut in 1 inch pieces and set aside. Cook remainder until crisp. Drain and crumble in pie shell. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook onion in 1 tbl bacon fat until golden and put over cheese. Beat together the eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, cayenne and dry mustard. Pour into shell. Decorate with reserved bacon. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until firm and browned. Cool slightly and cut into 6 wedges (or more if for hors d'oeurves.
