     Hot buttered rum

1 pound butter
1 pound brown sugar
1 pound powdered sugar
1quart softened vanilla ice cream
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Blend in brown sugar and powdered sugar. Remove from heat, and whisk in ice cream, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into a plastic, seal, and freeze.
In a coffee mug measure, 1or Tablespoon, buttered rum batter And I -2 Tablespoons of rum, then fill cup with boiling water Stir then sprinkle top of drink with nutmeg
