     Tomato Pie

Ingredients
1 Marie Callender pie crust
1/2 White onion (diced)
4 Vine ripe tomatoes (peeled)
1 Package fresh basil
1c Mayonnaise
1.5c Grated cheddar/jack (mixed) cheese
1tsp Sugar
1tsp Cayenne pepper
1tsp Black pepper
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use a fork to poke holes into the bottom of the crust. Bake for 12-25 mins. Saute the onion in butter. Set onion aside. Bring a pot of water to boil. Drop tomatoes into the boiling water, then peel. Build pie- one layer=tomato, onion, basil. Continue to layer until all of your tomatoes, onions, and basil are gone. Combine mayo, cheese, sugar, cayenne pepper, and black pepper in a bowl. Spread the mixture over the pie. Place pie onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 20-25mins, or until brown.
