     Cranberry Walnut Pie

Ingredients
1.25c Flour
1/3c Lard
3-4Tbl COLD water
2.5c Cranberries - place in bottom of pie shell
3/4c Brown sugar
1/2c Chopped walnuts (or your desired type of nut)
3Tbs Butter
2 Eggs
1c Sugar
 
1/2c - 2Tbl Butter (melted and cooled)
1c Flour
Powdered sugar, dusting for serving

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. The first three ingredients (1.25c flour, 1/3c lard, and 3-4Tbl cold water) are for a single pie crust. Once formed into a pie dish, place cranberries in the bottom of the shell. Combine the next three ingredients (3/4c brown sugar, 1/2c chopped walnuts, 3Tbl butter) in a bowl and form into pea sized crumbles. Spread on top of cranberries. In a separate bowl, mix 2 eggs, and 1c sugar with a whisk. Add 1/2c - 2Tbl butter (melted and cooled) with whisk. Add 1c flour and mix til smooth. Top pie with this mixture. Place onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 35mins. Sprinkle with powdered sugar prior to serving.
