     Zesty Italian Beef

Ingredients
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon paprika, optional
1/2 teaspoon red pepper, optional
2 cups water
2 pound rump roast
 

Instructions
Combine soup mix and seasonings with 2 cups water in slow cooker. Add roast. Cook on high 4 - 6 hours, or until meat is tender but not dry. Allow meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Top slices with cooking juices.
