     English Toffee

Ingredients
1 lb butter
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp corn syrup
2 cups chopped pecans (finely chop 2 Tbsp, set aside)
8 oz milk chocolate chips
 

Instructions
Melt butter, add sugar and stir. Add water and corn syrup - cook to 310 stirring constantly. Take off burner, stir in nuts. Spread out onto cookie sheet. Top with chocolate chips - wait a few minutes and spread out now melted chips. Top with finely chopped nuts. Cool. Break apart. Enjoy. Yum!!
