     Crystal Cut Candy

Ingredients
2 c. Sugar
1/2 light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
dash of salt
few drops of food coloring
4-6 drops of flavor oil
 

Instructions
Combine sugar, syrup, water and salt. bring to boil in medium pan. Cook to hard crack stage (290 degrees) Add food coloring and flavoring. Pour into 8 by 8 metal pan. Let cool intil a film forms over top. Use spatula and make lines across candy. Press lightly, don't break film, keep going until you hit the bottom.
