     Macaroni Casserole

Ingredients
1 (8 oz) pkg small elbow macaroni
1 small bell pepper, diced (1/2 c)
1 small onion, diced (1/2 c)
2 tbl butter or margarine
1 lb ground beef
1 (10 3/4 oz) can tomato soup
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese
 

Instructions
Cook macaroni, following label directions, drain, set aside. Saute bell pepper and onion in butter until soft, add ground beef and brown, breaking meat up with a fork as it cooks. Mix all- drained macaroni, meat mixture, both cans of soup (undiluted). Salt and pepper to taste. Spoon into a 12 x 8 casserole dish, top with cheese. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 15 minutes. Recipe may be doubled, freeze half for a future meal.
